Proud Share! Krista sent us this inspiring pic and note about her accomplishment of climbing to the top of Blarney Castle in Ireland together with her sunny yellow smartCRUTCH.
Krista said “I never would have made it up 200 castle steps without them! Castle steps are very uneven, they were made that way so that invading army’s would fall on the stairs. They can be very tricky to maneuver for an able bodied person. With the crutches ability to be shortened and quickly change angles is the only reason I got up and back down again without injury. Seriously amazing piece of mobility. It took most of the day but is an accomplishment I will always have with me. It is a beautiful place. I wasn’t able to kiss the (Blarney) stone due to neck instability but the climb up was the real accomplishment and I worked hard with my physical therapists before doing it!”
