Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. All orders paid for before 12 noon MST will ship the same day. This includes Express orders, which must be booked by 12noon on the day they leave. For security reasons, we do not currently ship to P.O. boxes. The below chart lists all standard shipping methods / costs for orders placed with smartcrutch-usa.com.

CANADA

We offer FedEx Home Delivery or Ground to Canada. We quote exact amounts individually on each package once you provide your postal code.

Freight is usually between $35.00-$50.00 for 6-10 business days. Please note that delivery times to Canada are estimated and are not guaranteed due to possible delays at Canada Customs.

In addition FedEx charges a brokerage fee or between $20.00-$23.00

This product is exempt from duties, however there is Sales Tax (GST/HST) applied as a percentage of the total, which varies depending on the province it is shipped to.

Typically a single or pair of crutches costs between $60.00 and $80.00 to ship to Canada.

FEDEX SERVICE EXPLANATIONS

Day 1 of the delivery day is counted from the day after pick up (i.e. the day after you receive a ‘order completed’ notification).

Home Delivery: Day-definite residential delivery in 2–5 business days based on distance to destination. Delivery between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., Tues.–Sat. Available to every U.S. residential address.

Ground: Day-definite delivery in 3–5 business days based on distance to destination. Delivery by end of business day. Available to every business address in all 50 states.

FedEx 2Day AM: Second-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most areas and by noon to rural areas.

FedEx 2Day or 2Day PM: Second-business-day delivery by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 8 p.m. to residences).

FedEx Standard Overnight: Delivery the next business day in the afternoon by 3 p.m. to most areas and by 4:30 p.m. to some rural areas (by 8 p.m. to residences).

ORDER TRACKING

Tracking numbers are assigned to packages when they ship and will be emailed to you the day your package ships (usually direct from FedEx). FedEx is the preferred supplier however orders placed on smartcrutch-usa.com may be delivered by several different shipping methods. Therefore, tracking availability may vary depending on shipping method you selected during checkout, and the carrier that is delivering your item(s). Please see our full Terms & Conditions.

SIGNATURES ON DELIVERY RECEIPT

We do not request or require signatures on any of our deliveries. It is at the delivery service’s discretion as to whether the package is left at your home if no one answers. If you require any type of signature (adult, indirect or direct) please advise immediately. This service may incur additional costs.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRIVERS & DELIVERY

Due to FedEx Privacy Regulations we are unable to include delivery or drop off instructions to the driver (for example ‘If I’m not home please leave the package on the back porch’). However, once you have your tracking number YOU are able to contact FedEx direct to give further instructions for your delivery. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & WEEKENDS

Please note that orders are not shipped on Public holidays or weekends. If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, there will be no pick ups on the Monday following.
