I needed something for balance and partial weight bearing and a cane was not cutting it. I tried multiple styles and they caused too much strain on my hand, wrists, and elbow joints. I looked at this for months before taking the plunge because I couldn’t try it first. But, finally, I decided to pick a side and give one a go. I’m so glad I did. I plan to order one for the other side, because you just never know which joint you’re going to need to support with hEDS or if you’re going to have a flair or injury in an upper joint making that arm not useable.

They exploit customers by turning them into billboards
They plaster their name and logo and telephone number three times on each crutch, if you choose a pattern instead of basic black…on both sides/ bottom of the cuff (more is covered than not) and again on the shaft. It’s impossible not to look like a walking advertisement for them, even after paying premium prices. It embarrassing, disgusting and exploitation.This is not the way to treat people, much less paying customers.

Love these crutches!
I have used Smart Crutches for about 10 years now. They are great for limited weight bearing or if you’re like me and can’t bear weight on wrists and hands so the weight is instead shifted to the forearm which helps tremendously for chronic/long-term use! Would love to have more frame color options but it’s nice getting to decorate the cuffs!
I needed to get these ice grips with expedited shipping before the winter storm hit. I reached out to the company and received excellent customer service. They shipped the product same day, and I received it in time. It really helped me to not slip on the ice.

The poles are adjustable to just the right height. They are sturdy enough to stop, lean, and rest (and I’m a big person). Customer service was quick and helpful. Would recommend.
We purchased smart crutches for our 18-year-old daughter who has a connective tissue disorder that causes her significant pain and joint dislocation issues. While our insurance wouldn’t cover the smart crutches, we ordered them anyway and boy are we glad we did!
